Are you dreaming of an unforgettable Eiffel Tower proposal with a breathtaking view? And are you looking for the perfect Paris proposal photographer to capture every emotional detail? You’ve come to the right place! As your expert team, we’re here to help you turn that dream into a beautiful, stress-free reality.
This magical Trocadero proposal story began with Dave and Annelisa. They love taking early morning walks when they visit new destinations, which made Trocadéro the perfect choice. Dave cleverly booked their hotel within walking distance of the Trocadéro platform—the signature viewing spot for the Eiffel Tower. We coordinated with Dave to ensure he knew the best time to arrive and helped him choose the perfect spot for his Paris marriage proposal. And as you can see, the look of complete surprise and pure happiness on Annelisa’s face confirms it was a resounding success!
One of the great things about a surprise proposal in Paris at Trocadero is the opportunity for epic Paris engagement photos with the Eiffel Tower as your glowing backdrop. However, we understand you may have many questions about how to make it all happen without the stress, especially while on vacation. As your expert Eiffel Tower proposal photographers, we’re here to help.
Eiffel Tower/Trocadero area:
- Pros: Trocadero has the most breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower along with spacious gardens for a more intimate proposal location
- Cons: Can be crowded later in the day
- In winter time the lighting can get very tricky here and fog can hide the Eiffel Tower, so it’s not often the first choice during those months.
- Considerations:
- Best in the hours just after sunrise for privacy and optimal lighting for photos.
- While one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower, this location should mainly be chosen in the morning for the best light and least amount of tourists. There aren’t really any restrictions for all of the options in this area. However, much of it is off limits from around July 7-16 for Bastille Day/Fete Nationale.
- The grassy area alongside the fountain is usually very quiet with few people around and often gives you the cleanest background and the touch of greenery is nice.
- Down by the Seine in front of the Eiffel Tower is also very nice and probably the most peaceful as well. Unless someone can walk on water you won’t have any random people walking through your background!
- Then there’s also the grassy area right by the base of the fountain. This is another very tranquil area that provides an area where people can’t walk through your background. The only drawback is this isn’t the best angle for photos with a full view of the Tower because of how close you are. However, the mid-length shots are great because the base of the tower appears much larger in photos here. And again, the greenery adds a nice feel to the photos.
- All in all the Trocadero/Eiffel Tower provides a good selection of locations for photographs of your Paris proposal. In addition there are great portrait spots for after the proposal all in walking distance.
