Our original strategy for this Versailles proposal photoshoot was set in one of the palace’s charming iconic groves. However, during my advanced scouting walk waiting for the couple to arrive, I learned those very spots were unexpectedly closed!
With precious minutes ticking away, we quickly made a pivot to one of our backup plans. As the couple was quickly making progress towards me, I was standing between the two entry points for our Plan A courtyard and the Plan B courtyard. I started to walk away from that area and as I came across a fountain, I turned to my right and there was a perfect pathway lined with towering trees, creating an intimate atmosphere, and just enough of the Palace in the background to give us a sense of this majestic location.
Once the couple was in position, I discreetly captured the heartfelt moment as he knelt. The look of utter astonishment and overwhelming joy on her face was absolutely priceless.
